MÜLLER-BBM and VIBES.technology have further strengthened their partnership
Planegg, Germany and Delft, The Netherlands. Pioneering the engineering and testing for a sustainable, efficient product development is the common mission of the Dutch engineering company VIBES.technology and the MÜLLER-BBM Group. They have already collaborated on product integration, international sales, and consulting projects in the automotive industry for years.
MÜLLER-BBM and VIBES.technology are pleased to announce they have entered into a strengthened global partnership, as Müller-BBM AG acquired a 40% share in VIBES.technology.
``Our partnership is a powerful combination of two forward-thinking innovation leaders,`` explains Josef Hobelsberger, Member of the Executive Board of Müller-BBM AG. ``This partnership brings together specific and innovative expertise within sound and vibration engineering from VIBES.technology with a comprehensive portfolio of engineering services, special technical products and software & hardware solutions from MÜLLER-BBM. We believe it will allow us to create an enhanced business impact for our customers by offering complimentary solutions from a single source.``
Strategic Growth
By combining their technology-driven knowledge and product offerings, VIBES.technology and MÜLLER-BBM VibroAkustik Systeme, a 100% Müller-BBM AG subsidiary, can jointly approach the market from a stronger perspective. The combined offering allows engineers to use powerful design strategies which shorten product development cycles and yield significant improvements in sound & vibration quality.
Maarten van der Seijs and Eric Pasma, members of the board of VIBES.technology: “Since the foundation of VIBES.technology in 2016, our products have been successfully adopted by customers such as BMW, Volvo, and Hyundai. Our existing partnership with MÜLLER-BBM gave us the opportunity to face numerous complex challenges in the market. Looking at the coming years and decades, we are confident that MÜLLER-BBM’s long-term focus and product portfolio will allow us to continue to grow.”
“Partnering with VIBES.technology will unlock the full potential of next-generation engineering, like combining test & simulation and enabling a hybrid NVH workflow,” says Andreas Ansorge, Managing Director of Müller-BBM VibroAkustik Systeme. “Technology like this is key for success in the ongoing industry transformation process.”
Changes in Leadership
In the course of the transaction, the management of VIBES.technology undergoes two changes:
Dr. Dennis de Klerk, Managing Director of MÜLLER-BBM VibroAkustik Systeme B.V., as well as pioneer of VIBES’ innovative Dynamic Substructuring methodology, has joined the board of VIBES.technology. As bridge builder he brings in the perfect blend of technical expertise, deep business skills and in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry to push forward the growth in the strengthened partnership together with both already long-standing managing directors Maarten van der Seijs and Eric Pasma.
Maarten van der Kooij, Co-founder of VIBES.technology, has taken on an advisory role instead of his former CEO role.
Maarten van der Kooij: ``VIBES is a healthy company and with this deal VIBES.technology is perfectly positioned towards the future. For me this is the right moment to step down. I am proud of what our team has accomplished and confident that the team will keep moving forward.``
“We would like to thank Maarten van der Kooij for his valuable contribution to the successful development of VIBES.technology over the past six years, from a small start-up to a professional organization with two offices, in Delft and in Munich. We look forward to continuing to work with Maarten in his new role,” underlines Dennis de Klerk.
