Meet Sanjay Bhagwat, our new and first Finance Manager

Since the first of December 2021, Sanjay joined the VIBES team as the first one in the role of Finance Manager. Below he will tell more about himself and what he does at VIBES.

Hi, I’m Sanjay. I was born in Surinam and grew up and still live in The Hague, The Netherlands. When I’m not working, I spend my time with friends and family or doing touristy things.

I have worked in several finance roles, starting out as an accounting clerk and taking on more responsibilities as I gained more knowledge and experience.

Companies I worked for were manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and service providers, being either public listed or privately held. At these companies I took responsibility for Accounting, Financial Controlling and Business Controlling teams up to 10 fte, serving (inter)national traders or multinationals with up to 35 companies in 17 countries.

By delivering business cases and projects on several post-merger integrations and business-wide changes such as ERP system replacements and the preparation for Brexit, I also gained a lot of experience in leading multi-national and multi-disciplined teams.

As the Finance Manager at VIBES I will partner with the Management Team to manage the business from a finance perspective, while taking the Back Office functions to the next level.
