4.1 Model Library

In COUPLE, we want to make engineers life as easy as possible in terms of bookkeeping and data organization and for this reason, we have developed the Model Library. The Model Library is the go-to place when you need to import new models, set up channels and interfaces, edit existing ones, organize them in the libraries or just visualize them and their characteristics.

When designing the Model Library, we got inspired by our Outlook mailbox. There, you can visualize information and access functionalities according to which folder you are in. Here it is the same: you select something in the left panel and you visualize it and edit in the right one.

Accessing the model library to import new models

If you want to import new models, to open the Model Library you have to:

1. Click on the  button in the top menu.

Accessing the model library to edit or visualize existing models

If you want to edit or visualize existing models, to open the Model Library you have to:

1. Right-click on the model (in the library or the design area).
2. Select Edit model in library.
