3.2 Model packages

The Model Package functionality allows you to open COUPLE projects containing models that are not in your library. This feature is useful, for example, when you share projects with colleagues with whom you do not have a library in common. When models are packaged in a project, they can easily be added to the currently active library and saved.

Adding models to a package

After creating a project with at least one variant, you can add the models used in a package.

To add models to a package, complete the next steps:

1. Click .
2. Click .
3. Select the models to add to the package.
4. Save the project.

Importing models from a package

You can import models that are in a package to your library. To do so, they will be also saved on your laptop.

To import the models of the package, complete the next steps:

1. Click .
2. Click .
3. Click next to the model you want to import.
4. Select the correct library.
5. Click OK.
6. Browse for the correct location.
7. Click Save.
