9.2 Creating plots

Creating a plot

You can easily make plots in SOURCE in any module.

To plot data in SOURCE, complete the next steps:

  1. Right-click on the dataset and select Plot.
  2. Select the plot type.

You can plot multiple datasets in the same graph by selecting multiple datasets instead of only one.

Adding data to an existing plot

You can add data to an existing plot if the datasets are of the same type (time or frequency).

To add data to an existing plot, follow the next step:

  1. Drag and drop the dataset in the graph.

If the additional and the plotted dataset do not have channels in common, the first channel of the added dataset gets plotted and pinned.

Plotting input data

In the Analyze module, you can of course plot the results, but also the inputs of the analyses (both FRF and operational data). You can both plot them directly or add them to an existing plot, following the instructions of the two paragraphs above.
